The best ways to keep your closet organized

I'm guessing a lot of girls are known for saying “I have nothing to wear,” yet your closet is about to burst? You do have lots to wear—you probably just can’t find it. Therefore I've made this post, so that you can find what you've forgotten and enjoy the coming fashion seasons.

Tip 1: Edit often and set a cut-off date.

If you haven’t worn an item in the past year, consider it clutter. We have two major exceptions: if something’s an investment piece (store it) or great vintage (again, store it).

Tip 2: Downsize your t-shirt collection.

No one needs to have mounds of t-shirts. Hold onto your favorite seven and donate the others, because let’s be honest, you always go for the one on the top of the pile anyways.

Tip 3: Merchandise your clothing.

To avoid an overwhelming closet, arrange your clothing by category. In other words, group all outerwear together, all tops together, and all pants together for a neat and systematic wardrobe. This will make it very simple when looking for a certain blouse or pair of fitted pants.

Tip 4: Keep your shoes visible.

This one is simple: if you can’t see it, you won’t wear it. If you hide your shoes toward the back of your closet, you will continue to wear the same pairs over and over again. Even out the playing field and show yourself all of your options.

Tip 5: Try color coordinating your handbags.

If you’re anything like us and pack your handbag right before you head out the door, this tip will be your lifesaver. Keep your handbags and clutches organized by color so you can quickly grab the perfect option for your outfit.

Tip 6: Avoid double-hanging items.

It always sounds like a good idea if you’re running low on space or hangers, but we promise this is the quickest way for your closet to swallow your clothes. Sounds familiar? Bet those “missing” items are hanging in your closet right now.

Tip 7: Invest in the right hangers.

Explore your options! Get to know your closet and find out which types of hangers make most sense for your wardrobe. I suggest avoiding wire hangers because they can deform your clothing; instead go for a thin and sleek style that will save very valuable closet space. White wood hangers are my personal favourite.

Perfect pyjamas for cosying up at home

You put a lot of thought into your work, play, and even gym outfits, so isn’t it time you turn your attention to what you sleep in? With all of the adorable available options, it’s time to retire your baggy t-shirt and faded sweatpants, and invest in a pair that will make staying in even more appealing.
For those who've been spending their days in Sweden know exactly what I mean.

How to look chic at the airport

Holiday time = Travelling time, for the most of us at least! So how do you pull off that model-of-duty-airport-look? Here are some super easy tricks that will help you look the best during your travelling time!

Cosy it up like Emma Stone with a nice and warm scarf. Keep your outfit simple and either go for a brighter and more colorful scarf, or a more natural one like Emma above.

Go pastel like Jessica Hart! Pastel colors are a big must this winter season, so why not bring some of that brightness with you? Mix different shades of white, beige, pink and brown to achieve the biggest impression.

Add some fur to your outfit as elegantly as Kate Beckinsale. This fur coat is perfect for cold winter days! Together with a pair of skinny black jeans or leather pants, a white top and some black heels, it's impossible to fail this classy look.

Comfortable doesn't have to be sloppy! Just look at Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the pro of the pro's when it comes to airport fashion. As one of the busiest models on the market (and most gorgeous), it's as important to feel comfortable as to look presentable at all times. By mixing your favourite sweater with a classy coat and a handbag in a dark color you can look as stylish as Rosie.

Brighten things up! Wear your favourite light blue jeans with a darker top, and you will definately catch people's eyes. There's only one rule: keep it simple! Let the focus be on the jeans. Go for a simple black blouse and black flats or boots. If you want to add something special, choose a bolder color for your lips or add a bag in an interesting material, a dark grey suede bag in Miranda's case.

Chanel Paris/Dallas 2013/14

In case you missed Chanel's show that was around a week ago, no worries! You can all see it here.
The show took place in an amazing setting. The theme for the whole show was "Dallas" inspired, with cowboy and western inspired garnments and looks, that were still elegant.
Even though Chanel's shows can be a bit overwhelming for my taste, I think this one has to be one of the more "calm" ones. I found myself actually really liking most of the fabrics and could see myself wearing some of their clothes. It's a bit out of my price-range though, hahah...
You should really take your time to watch the entire show, it's definately something out of the ordinary!

Atlantic-Pacific Street Style

This gorgeous blogger has an amazing taste in fashion. She's one of my favorite fashion bloggers and this outfit is definately not dissapointing! Her blog goes under the name Atlantic-Pacific and I definately think you should check it out if you haven't already. She's definately one of my style icons!

Olivia Palermo Street Style

This gorgeous fashionista and style icon strikes again - this time with an amazing fall/winter outfit! Leather, fur and a pop of color is all it takes for miss Olivia to hit the first place in any magazines best dressed-lists. And of course I love it aswell, even though it might be a bit too cold right now here in Sweden.
But if you live in a bit warmer place I suggest you cosy up your leather jacket with a fur vest and hit the streets, you'll definately be recognized for your unmissable sense of style!

Jessica Hart - Street Style

I love this simple, casual and a bit preppy street style a la Jessica Hart. Since I consider my personal style quite similar, this is exactly in my taste. The classic trench coat, cosy white sweater, patterned shirt and a pair of skinny jeans can never go wrong. For a bit of a warmer outfit, change the flats to a pair of heels, as the ones found here.

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it

I feel so bad about this and it feels like I've let you guys down by not posting anything for such a long time. I'm so so so so so sorry about it! From tomorrow there won't be any major test or exams for about a week and I'll have more time for this blog, so have faith!
Well as you all know Christmas is coming faster than you think, and for me that means one thing: it's very soon time for the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show!
For all of you who know me personally you know that it's that one thing that I'm looking forward to the most the whole year. There's just something about the atmosphere, the lingerie and the gorgeous models that make me all excited!
Look through these pics below to get more info.

Yesterday the 10 million dollar-bra was revealed and if you ask me, it's looking absolutely gorgeous! This year, Candice Swanepoel, my favorite model of all times, will have the honor to wear it. It's going to be magical!

Don't miss it!

Style inspiration

This dress is PERFECTION! The LBD that every girl should have, with a nice and romantic little twist that makes this dress unique. I'm actually really thinking about buying this dress... What do you think, should I go for it?

I love everything about this outfit! The white top with the pants that add that color to the outfit. Also the necklace and the bracelet adds that little "bling" to this outfit and makes it more "wow". Also the hair is perfectly done, so this outfit is gorgeous!

This outfit may seem quite boring, but there is a detail that make it interesting. It's the fact that the pants aren't totally black, like they may seem at first glance, but avtually they have a print. I also like the print of the top, which makes this outfit more cute.

Love the cute flower bottom of this knitted top, so cute!

This colorblocking outfit is simple but amazing!

Cinnamon-bun day

Yep, something like that exists here in Sweden and it's one of the best days of the year. It smells like cinnamon buns everywhere you go, every market, every shop, every café have special prices for cinnamon-buns and it smells like heaven! So of course, what better way to celebrate it than to bake your own? That's what I'm doing right now and I'll make sure to post the result and recipe here, so come back in a couple of hours to see how it turned out! The only bad thing with baking your own cinnamon-buns is that it takes a whole lot of time before you can actually enjoy them. But it's fun and they taste even better if you make them by yourself!

Today is also finally Friday! I have been looking forward to the weekend so much, but unfortunately I won't be able to enjoy it as much as I'd like to. I have TONS of homework to do and the main thing that I'm going to focus on is the marketing exam that I have next Tuesday. My teacher is seriously insane, she want's us to know way too much information and it's not going to be able to write the exam in only two hours if you look at the amount of questions and the quality she wants them to have.
So I do not have a very fun weekend in front of me!

Also Friday means "Vampire Diaries"! Today is the premier of season 5 for us in Sweden and I have longed for this day in probably around 6 months, so I'm really happy that it's finally here. I haven't watched it yet, but I will after I write this post while the cinnamon-buns are fermenting. Can't wait!

Hope you guys have had a great week!

Olivia Palermo for Miss Vogue Australia

So Olivia Palermo had an amazing photoshoot for Miss Vogue Australia a little while ago. She is so incredibly beautiful and I'm beyond jealous of her looks! Anyway, here's some pictures from the shoot for you to take a look at and get your confident beaten down by this gorgeous girl.

Lovin' her style

I absolutely LOVE the outfit Alessandra Ambrosio was wearing the other day when she was out and about with her kids in the hot summer air. There's not a single wrong thing about this outfit, it's simple and gorgeous yet comfy. What is there not to like?
