A weekend full of emotions

Excitement, boredome, anger, lazyness, anxiety... These are just some words to describe this weekend.

Saturday started with me waking up early for being a Saturday, just so that I could get tickets to One Direction's concert here in Sweden in June next year. By knowledge gotten through previous experiences I decided to not visit Ticnet's website until around 8:40 AM, the tickets were going to be released at 9 AM. Then I learn to know that I will have to wait for 30-60 minutes. Guess if I was stressed? I knew that if I was going to have to wait for 60 minutes I would NEVER get any tickets at all. So I waited and waited and waited (eating breakfast during this time). Finally, at around 9:30 I was let into the website. I was supposed to get tickets to me, Agnes, her friend and my sister and her friend, 5 persons in total. Since I was let into the website so late, there weren't any tickets left, only single-seats that were not placed together. So I bought those, because I thought that "Well, better have any kind of tickets than no tickets at all!". Then, about 15 minutes later I get a call from Agnes. She's saying that there's gonna be a second concert the day after and that her friend probably got me a ticket. Of course I got extrememly happy, but I also got really mad and dissapoointed and anxious. And on top of that my sister called and told me she and her friend had gotten great tickets to the next show aswell. What the hell am I supposed to do with those single-place tickets now??? I'm soooooo mad at Ticnet still, not telling anyone about the extra concert so that desperate people like me buy the last and worst tickets, just so that they can earn money. That is nowhere near fair and to me it feels like fraud.
So the first half of Saturday was ruined because of the whole Ticnet-thing.

The rest of the day went by quite nice, though the rough start. I layed around in my bed, watching "Bones", drinking tea and coffee and enjoying delicious food. Also had some homework done, but it for sure didn't feel like a priority that day. I was feeling really sorry for myself and acted thereafter hahah.
The day ended with mom, dad and I watching "After Earth" with Will Smith and his son. It's a Sci-Fi movie, so my dad LOVED it while mom wasn't to fond with it. I don't really know what I thougth about the movie... I'm not a hardcore Sci-Fi fan like my dad, but I don't hate it like my mom. I guess I'd say that I'm somewhere in the middle. But this movie felt somewhat weird, maybe it was because of the main actor (which, surprizingly, isn't Will). But overall I'd say it was quite a good movie!

Sunday nothing really special happened. I met Agnes for a quick chat after mass and then dad gave me a ride to a shoppig center in Farsta where I bought this cashbook to keep track of my economy. Thought it would be more fun to actually write it all down and have it on paper. It was actually mom's idea because I have no idea where my money goes heheh. So thanks mom!
The rest of the Sunday I did some homework, cleaned my room and finished the fifth season of "Bones"
.
Today I have Spanish reading and hearing tests and a guitar lesson after school. I'm gonna try to get some homework done and start the sixth season of "Bones", which I'm super excited about!

Even though the game ended 2-2, I was not sad (throwing on a duckface :P) Sorry for the lame-ass quality!

The Emmy Awards 2013

22nd of September, that would mean last Sunday, it was finally time for the annual Emmy Awards ( or "The Primetime Emmy Awards Ceremony" as it's actually called). Because it aired so late, around midnight here in Sweden, I wasn't able to watch it and I unfortunately still haven't. But I will, since I love all kinds of award shows! Besides seeing the winners in the different categories, fashion is the highlight for me.
So here are some of the, for us in Sweden, most known celebrities and my comments about their outfits. Hope you enjoy!

Carrie Underwood in a Ramon Keveza dress
Personally I don't like this outfit, it feels a bit too "promy" to me. Her make-up and hair is gorgeous, and so is the color of the dress, but it all combined doesn't scream Emmys to me.

Sarah Hyland in a CH by Carolina Herrera dress
This is completely gorgeous! The emerald green dress matches Sarah's skintone perfectly. Together with some black lace and red lips her look is stunning!

Kaley Cuoco in a Vera Wang dress
This is completely gorgeous as well! I love the deep red color together with loose waves and smoky eyes. Dark red colors are definately a go-to-color for me when it comes to dresses. It looks amazing on Kaley and personally I think she's one of the best dressed this year!

Malin Åkerman in a Marchesa dress
Of course I have to mention our own little Swedish star in Hollywood, Malin Åkerman. I think she looks like an angel in this beautiful dove white creation by Marchesa. In my opinion the dress is a bit too big in the "mermaid" part of the dress, but otherwise it's a real win!

Heidi Klum in an Atelier Versace dress
Yet another dark red dress, this time on "Project Runway" hostess Heidi Klum. I have a bit of divided feelings about this outfit... The color is beautiful, the little sparkle adds something extra, but what the heck happened in the upper part of the dress? The neck is dreadful and some of the embroidery make a bit of weird shapes... This is a thumbs down for me.

Rose Byrne in a Calvin Klein dress
This can be describeb in one word: "Wow". I'm in LOVE with everything! The color is totally the color to go for this fall, it complements her skintone and hair perfectly. I love the little bit darker and smoky make-up, giving me a bit of the old-Hollywood feeling. Totally number 1 on my list! This is PERFECTION in one picture!

Findings in the outdoors

Yet another day has gone by quite quickly and I'm sitting in the livingroom, all curled up on the sofa with a soft blanket watching "Bones" and drinking tea. Yep, this is perfection. Especially after a very cold and tiering day like this!
So on today's schedule was an "orientation-day", completely devoted tp going out running in the woods searching for different controls and stuff. It's actually kind of fun, when you don't think about the running and the pressure to perform. Well I would say that considering my conditions I did very well. For other, more trained, people it probably wouldn't be such a good result, but I'm actually really happy!
But I'm even more happy now that it's over! Thank God! I definately thought I was going to hurt myself because of the slippery rocks and all other different kinds of dangers that you can find in a forest. I'm not known for my gracefulness, if you know what I mean!

Anyway, I'm really happy with the outcome and looking forward to dinner hahah!

Happy to be home in one piece!

We didn't win, but we for sure fought!

Yep, the headline says it all... Lithuania didn't win against the suprizingly strong France. Even though the whole family cheered on the the top of their lungs the whole game, we weren't loud enough to be heard in Slovenia. Lithuania had met France before and won with quite some points if I remember correctly, but I suppose the pressure was a bit to much for the players last night. Either way, Lithuania did take home the silver medal and I'm very happy with that! I for sure didn't expect this good results!
Here are some pictures from yesterday's game.

Linas Kleiza, Tony Parker and Mantas Kalnietis.

Not a particularly HQ picture, but the only one I found that features the whole team!

Linas Kleiza got a reward for the power forward position. He averaged 11.4 points and five rebounds-per-game in Slovenia.

Weekend lovin'

Finally it's the weekend! I slept about 10-11 hours and felt super well rested when I woke up this morning. The day started with breakfast and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" with sissie, whereafter she went on a walk with Seira and I did some homework.

So I went to school on both Thursday and Friday, thank God I was feeling well enough! I attended some really important lessons and got some things done. Even though I only went to school for a couple of days, a few free days feel well deserved (must be the sickness not totally loosing it's hold on me).
Last night was mostly spent in front of the computer or the TV, but also in the kitchen. When I got home I made a snack and watched an episode of "Bones". Then we watched a basketball game, Lithuania vs. Croatia. As we'd hoped Lithuania won (!) and is now through to the finals of EuroBasket 2013! Yey!!! After the game I made dinner:
vanilla and chocolate wafers with whatever toppings you like! I'd say they came out delicious heheh!
After dinner we watched the other semifinal of the tournament to see which team was going to be Lithuania's competitors for Sunday's game. It ended up being France (as we all secretly wished), even though Spain wasn't far behind. It was a very intriguing and nail-biting game!

On today's schedule we have even more homework that needs to be done, some guitar practising, room cleaning and baking. I'll post the results later!

Until then!

Friday's lunch at school: broccoli and blue cheese pie with vegetables

Fruits, coffee and "Bones" always cheer me up!

Wafers!

Sickness in some of it's forms

I'll begin this post by apologizing for the incredibly bad updating on this blog this past week. Truth is, I've been sick and I still am. Just laying around in bed, watching series all day. I am curently done with the first season of "House" and on my fourth season of "Bones", but series amazingly interesting.

Today was the first day stepping outside after over 4 days in bed. I went to school, but only for the first lesson since we had a Swedish test on grammar; constituents, phrases and some other things I don't actually remember right now. I think the test went well and after I'd done it I went home. On my way home I bought a big cup of chai-latte to keep me warm in the September-cold that has now struck this country. And thank God I did, otherwise I would've frozen to death!

So now I'm just being lazy in bed, watching "Bones", drinking tea and reading books. Trying my best to get healthy as soon as possible. Will probably head to school tomorrow since I can't afford to miss any more of my classes, no matter how I feel. Hopefully health will be on my side...

Either way, have a great day!

What I've been reading, an amazing book by a gorgeous girl!

My sissie was the sweetest and baked me a feel-good-soon-chocolate-cake. Yes, it was delicious!

What's been getting me through these days: my beloved computer, some chocolate and lots and lots of liquid in all it's forms!

Today's love: chai-latte.

Outfit of the day :P Sick-but-still-going-to-school was the theme!

Friday the 13th

Wow, it feels like I haven't written here for ages, which is kind of what it's been since my last post.
This week has gone by quite fast, probably because I've stayed home a couple of days.
On Monday I went to school as usual, but towards the afternoon I started to not feel so good. I was having random chills and a consistant headache. I was supposed to go to my first guitar lesson for this semester, but I didn't go.
So Tuesday and Wednesday I stayed at home since I wasn't feeling so good and just relaxed at home, watching tv-shows like "House", "Bones" and "Veronica Mars" and drinking a lot of tea and warm milk with honey.
Thursday I went back to school and it was really nice to see everyone again. Even though I've not been feeling so well I've gotten quite a lot of homework done.
Now it's finally Friday and the weekend is just around the corner. Even though I've been home this week I'm still longing for the weekend and some free time.
It has been going really well for Lithuania in the Europian Basketball Championship. They are now through to the second round and have beaten France, which is one of the best teams in the tournament. Today they're playing against Belgium and we're all hoping for victory, of course!
Also some of my friends' birthdays have been this week. So a BIG "Happy Birthday!" to Nashara, Anamika and my beloved Niall (who is not my friend YET :P)!

A very delicious croissant that I felt like I deserved since being sick and my life savior, warm milk with honey!

Thank you to Agnes for borrowing me this

Sleepover with besties

So I've told you about my little sleepover over at Nicolina's house together with Patricia. After eating breakfast I went home to have lunch and then I was on my way again, this time going to Huddinge Centrum to mmet my besties Agnes, Anna and Bea.
As always I was the only one there on time! I tried to look in different clothing stores for some make-up, but they all closed at 4 PM, so I ended up just standing where we were supposed to meet watching Zoella's videos on YouTube. I just love her! She's so cute and has some great tips and funny videos.
So after a while (Agnes and Anna were about half an hour late :P) we went to buy some dinner and snacks and stuff and took a buss to her place. Bea was at an eye doctor so she was supposed to come at 6 PM, but ended up coming 1,5 hours late.
We took a really nice walk with Agnes' two dogs. We went for a walk in the forest and ended up at this beautiful cliff that had one of the most amazing views. Unfortunately I think that pictures rarely can show how beautiful nature really is, but I gave it a go anyway!
Once we got home, Anna, Agnes and I decided we were gonna have a movie-night. We went for "I am NUmber Four" and "Exam". The first one I had already seen, but the second one was new and it was really good. It was a bit different, like a mix of a thriller and a psychological movie, but with a twist. However, I really recommend it. It's that kind of movie that suits bot young people and their parents.
For dinner we had bought some pizza, but Agnes' parents had made a delicious dinner, so we ate both that and our pizza. We had planned that we were going to go to bed early because we all had things to do in the morning, but of course we ended up going to bed around 3-4 AM.
Then Sunday was spent just chilling at home watching series and doing some homeworks. This weekend was a lot of fun!

Also tried this lovely thing for the first time

Girls night

Yesterday was so much fun! We had planned that we would have a Harry Potter-marathon were we would watch the last 3 movies, but instead we ended up talking instead and watched only like a third of the first movie! We ate homemade tacos for dinner and some nacho chips, two types of dark chocolate and of course different types of soft drinks. We also ended up watching chick flicks; Mean Girls 2 (which was NOT as good as the first one) and The Clique (which I will love forever no matter what). I didn't watch the whole second movie, because I fell asleep, but it was nice anyway.
now im on my way to my friend Agnes' house for a sleepover there, which will be sooo much fun!

2 days in pictures

So nothing too interesting has happened these last two days. It's been quite mellow both at school and at home, which has been kind of nice. Me and my sister have began to watch "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" again and it's really fun! I know some people don't like reality series but I just love them, they're so much fun!

Also the Europian Basketball Championship 2013 has started! People in Sweden are not really interested in basketball (since they're really not good at it!), which makes it kind of hard to watch the games that really matter in the championship. And those games are the ones were Lithuania plays! But I've found a relatively good site where you can watch it online, so it works. So now my evenings will involve a lot of basketball from now on! It's great fun though, spending some quality time with dad, cheering for my country.

Here are some pics from these last 2 days!

Late school day

So this day was as I said earlier really chill. I just hang out at home, didn't go shopping, but made some homework and other stuff. For lunch I made this delicious salad that consisted of baby spinach, ruccola, regular salad, cucumber, feta cheese, walnuts and a hardboiled egg. Yummy!
Since the late lesson we were gonna have was math, and I always get dangerously sleepy during those classes, I thought that I would boost my energy level with some coffee. So I made some at home and took it with me. It was kind of tricky at the beginning, because it stayed hot for a long time and I couldn't drink it when I wanted. But otherwhise it was a really great idea, because I was filled with energy and actually felt interested during my teachers introduction. I will definately continue to do this!

Have a great rest of the day!

Today's lunch

On the bus

The morning sun

Good morning! Woke up not too long ago by the sun shining in through my window. As it looks right now today is going to be a beautiful day! Maybe not so very warm, but at least sunny. Today I don't have a lot going on, since Tuesdays are a bit special at my school. We only have classes if the teacher "book" them. So today only the last lesson is booked, therefore I don't have anything to do until then.
But that doesn't mean that I don't have anything planned! I will do some homework, probably Spanish, go to the gym and maybe go shopping, I don't quite know yet. Either way, today is going to be great!
So I started this morning by having a great breakfast and some nice reading and then I watched an episode of "Teen Mom 2". I just find it so interesting to see how people my age manage to have kids! Also, did you know that there's a "Teen Mom 3"? I'm gonna start watching it as soon as I'm done with the one I'm watching now, because the third part is about totally new people.

Anyway, I hope you have a great day!

Simple with a blast of color

Finally Monday is over, probably the worst day of the week. It was long and hard, but it ended in a very nice way.
I have a actually found a soft spot; ice-cream! I can eat tons of it all at the same time! Like today, on my way home from school I bought this box of delicious vanilla ice-cream with bits of Daim, and I ate the whole box myself. If I can continue like this I'm gonna get some serious health issues, but it's so damn good I can't help myself! Also, life's to short to keep out the good parts! But it doesn't mean you should get an extra 10 kg out of ice-cream hahahaha!
So yesterday I started watching "Gone" with Amanda Seyfried, but I didn't watch the whole movie because I was too tired. So I watched the rest of it when I got home and it was so good! Thank you Jennifer for letting me know about it!
Since the movie was so good and I still was in the mood for an another thriller movie, I ended up watching "The Call" with Halle Berry. I'll watch the end of it soon, but I just have to say that that woman has some good genes! She looks flawless, though her age! She's truly one of the most beautiful women on earth!
Also today for dinner our family decided to try something new: Indian inspired food! We ended up doing this stew that consisted of beans, chickpeas, haricot verts and a lot of spices together with traditional Naan bread. We even ended up eating with our hands! Hahahah! Tonight I truly channelled my inner Indian girl! Either way, it was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had in my entire life and you all should try it sometime. Just let me know if you'd like the recipe or something!

Olivia Palermo for Miss Vogue Australia

So Olivia Palermo had an amazing photoshoot for Miss Vogue Australia a little while ago. She is so incredibly beautiful and I'm beyond jealous of her looks! Anyway, here's some pictures from the shoot for you to take a look at and get your confident beaten down by this gorgeous girl.

Delicious lunch with amazing friend

Can you believe that it's already fall? I for sure can't, even though you're beginning to feel the little chilliness in the air. Fall for me means a lot of stress, because of school and all. So therefore I have decided that I this year are going to focus on stuff that make me feel happy, even though it's that "Where did the summer go?" time of year. I'm gonna invest in some new accessories for my room, like scented candles and maybe a new pillow or two, to get that cosy fall feeling I love. Because fall should be less stressfull and more relaxing and cosy. Imagine sitting curled up on the sofa in a fluffy blanket, holding a warm cup of tea or coffee, reading a good book or seeing a movie and you'll know what I mean. That's my goal for Fall 2013!

Today started with a steady breakfast and then going to church with my family. After church my friends and I were supposed to meet up and have coffee/lunch, but two of them were sick, so it was just me and one of my dearest friends Agnes (you can find her blog here). We decided to go to Wayne's Coffee which was just around the corner. It's a quite small, cute little café that I love. We ended up talking for hours about everything and anything! We talked about school, what we want our futures to hold, our plans and how to make them work and so on. It was really nice to have someone to share your thoughts with that understood you and didn't make fun of your dreams, even though they're not so very realistic. I would say that it was a really nice way to end your weekend!

Also on my way home I bought some ice-cream and the latest issue of Swedish ELLE, which I'm saving for later today. Right now I'm just gonna finish my homework and then me and my sister will watch Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013, for what feels like the 100th time ever. But I love it, so it doesn't matter!

Hope you have a great week!

Today's lunch consisted of a delicious chicken wrap, a chocolate cupcake and some raspberry water. Yummy!

Beautiful bestie!

The perfect ending after a long week!
