What's on my mind

RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman

These tragic news hit me this morning. Philip Seymour Hoffman, a worldwide famous actor, for the younger generation most known for playing the role of Plutarch Heavensbee in Catching Fire, passed away. The information from the police is that it was an overdose.
You will be incredibly missed by all the people you touched, directly or through your movies!
May he rest in peace!

It's particularly special for me, because I was the one to introduce the books both to my little sister and most of my friends, since I read quite a lot and like to influence others when it comes to books.

A weekend full of emotions

Excitement, boredome, anger, lazyness, anxiety... These are just some words to describe this weekend.

Saturday started with me waking up early for being a Saturday, just so that I could get tickets to One Direction's concert here in Sweden in June next year. By knowledge gotten through previous experiences I decided to not visit Ticnet's website until around 8:40 AM, the tickets were going to be released at 9 AM. Then I learn to know that I will have to wait for 30-60 minutes. Guess if I was stressed? I knew that if I was going to have to wait for 60 minutes I would NEVER get any tickets at all. So I waited and waited and waited (eating breakfast during this time). Finally, at around 9:30 I was let into the website. I was supposed to get tickets to me, Agnes, her friend and my sister and her friend, 5 persons in total. Since I was let into the website so late, there weren't any tickets left, only single-seats that were not placed together. So I bought those, because I thought that "Well, better have any kind of tickets than no tickets at all!". Then, about 15 minutes later I get a call from Agnes. She's saying that there's gonna be a second concert the day after and that her friend probably got me a ticket. Of course I got extrememly happy, but I also got really mad and dissapoointed and anxious. And on top of that my sister called and told me she and her friend had gotten great tickets to the next show aswell. What the hell am I supposed to do with those single-place tickets now??? I'm soooooo mad at Ticnet still, not telling anyone about the extra concert so that desperate people like me buy the last and worst tickets, just so that they can earn money. That is nowhere near fair and to me it feels like fraud.
So the first half of Saturday was ruined because of the whole Ticnet-thing.

The rest of the day went by quite nice, though the rough start. I layed around in my bed, watching "Bones", drinking tea and coffee and enjoying delicious food. Also had some homework done, but it for sure didn't feel like a priority that day. I was feeling really sorry for myself and acted thereafter hahah.
The day ended with mom, dad and I watching "After Earth" with Will Smith and his son. It's a Sci-Fi movie, so my dad LOVED it while mom wasn't to fond with it. I don't really know what I thougth about the movie... I'm not a hardcore Sci-Fi fan like my dad, but I don't hate it like my mom. I guess I'd say that I'm somewhere in the middle. But this movie felt somewhat weird, maybe it was because of the main actor (which, surprizingly, isn't Will). But overall I'd say it was quite a good movie!

Sunday nothing really special happened. I met Agnes for a quick chat after mass and then dad gave me a ride to a shoppig center in Farsta where I bought this cashbook to keep track of my economy. Thought it would be more fun to actually write it all down and have it on paper. It was actually mom's idea because I have no idea where my money goes heheh. So thanks mom!
The rest of the Sunday I did some homework, cleaned my room and finished the fifth season of "Bones"
.
Today I have Spanish reading and hearing tests and a guitar lesson after school. I'm gonna try to get some homework done and start the sixth season of "Bones", which I'm super excited about!

Waiting to be let into the website

Breakfast during the wait, also a new obsession

Annoyance and anger well expressed between Agnes and I

Delicious dinner by mom: sesame baked salmon with cooked potatoes and a cucumber-lemon-sour cream mix

Saying goodbye to some summer clothes with tears in my eyes

Sickness in some of it's forms

I'll begin this post by apologizing for the incredibly bad updating on this blog this past week. Truth is, I've been sick and I still am. Just laying around in bed, watching series all day. I am curently done with the first season of "House" and on my fourth season of "Bones", but series amazingly interesting.

Today was the first day stepping outside after over 4 days in bed. I went to school, but only for the first lesson since we had a Swedish test on grammar; constituents, phrases and some other things I don't actually remember right now. I think the test went well and after I'd done it I went home. On my way home I bought a big cup of chai-latte to keep me warm in the September-cold that has now struck this country. And thank God I did, otherwise I would've frozen to death!

So now I'm just being lazy in bed, watching "Bones", drinking tea and reading books. Trying my best to get healthy as soon as possible. Will probably head to school tomorrow since I can't afford to miss any more of my classes, no matter how I feel. Hopefully health will be on my side...

Either way, have a great day!

What I've been reading, an amazing book by a gorgeous girl!

My sissie was the sweetest and baked me a feel-good-soon-chocolate-cake. Yes, it was delicious!

What's been getting me through these days: my beloved computer, some chocolate and lots and lots of liquid in all it's forms!

Today's love: chai-latte.

Outfit of the day :P Sick-but-still-going-to-school was the theme!

Sleepover with besties

So I've told you about my little sleepover over at Nicolina's house together with Patricia. After eating breakfast I went home to have lunch and then I was on my way again, this time going to Huddinge Centrum to mmet my besties Agnes, Anna and Bea.
As always I was the only one there on time! I tried to look in different clothing stores for some make-up, but they all closed at 4 PM, so I ended up just standing where we were supposed to meet watching Zoella's videos on YouTube. I just love her! She's so cute and has some great tips and funny videos.
So after a while (Agnes and Anna were about half an hour late :P) we went to buy some dinner and snacks and stuff and took a buss to her place. Bea was at an eye doctor so she was supposed to come at 6 PM, but ended up coming 1,5 hours late.
We took a really nice walk with Agnes' two dogs. We went for a walk in the forest and ended up at this beautiful cliff that had one of the most amazing views. Unfortunately I think that pictures rarely can show how beautiful nature really is, but I gave it a go anyway!
Once we got home, Anna, Agnes and I decided we were gonna have a movie-night. We went for "I am NUmber Four" and "Exam". The first one I had already seen, but the second one was new and it was really good. It was a bit different, like a mix of a thriller and a psychological movie, but with a twist. However, I really recommend it. It's that kind of movie that suits bot young people and their parents.
For dinner we had bought some pizza, but Agnes' parents had made a delicious dinner, so we ate both that and our pizza. We had planned that we were going to go to bed early because we all had things to do in the morning, but of course we ended up going to bed around 3-4 AM.
Then Sunday was spent just chilling at home watching series and doing some homeworks. This weekend was a lot of fun!

Also tried this lovely thing for the first time

Simple with a blast of color

Finally Monday is over, probably the worst day of the week. It was long and hard, but it ended in a very nice way.
I have a actually found a soft spot; ice-cream! I can eat tons of it all at the same time! Like today, on my way home from school I bought this box of delicious vanilla ice-cream with bits of Daim, and I ate the whole box myself. If I can continue like this I'm gonna get some serious health issues, but it's so damn good I can't help myself! Also, life's to short to keep out the good parts! But it doesn't mean you should get an extra 10 kg out of ice-cream hahahaha!
So yesterday I started watching "Gone" with Amanda Seyfried, but I didn't watch the whole movie because I was too tired. So I watched the rest of it when I got home and it was so good! Thank you Jennifer for letting me know about it!
Since the movie was so good and I still was in the mood for an another thriller movie, I ended up watching "The Call" with Halle Berry. I'll watch the end of it soon, but I just have to say that that woman has some good genes! She looks flawless, though her age! She's truly one of the most beautiful women on earth!
Also today for dinner our family decided to try something new: Indian inspired food! We ended up doing this stew that consisted of beans, chickpeas, haricot verts and a lot of spices together with traditional Naan bread. We even ended up eating with our hands! Hahahah! Tonight I truly channelled my inner Indian girl! Either way, it was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had in my entire life and you all should try it sometime. Just let me know if you'd like the recipe or something!
