At the horse stable

Hello everyone!
I'm gonna keep this post short, since I have tons of things to do. Writing an essay and packing for tomorrow's trip to name two of them.
I just thought I would share a couple of photos I took yesterday after my horse riding lesson. It's of the horse I got to ride, Lorento. He was super nice, a bit scared of umbrellas though, which made him a piece of work sometimes.
Have a nice evening!

Kendall and Kylie Jenner releasing a book?

Kendall and Kylie Jenner, known from Keeping Up With the Kardashians, are going to release their debut novel "Rebels: City of Indra" this summer.

"Kylie and I love the creative challenge and are excited to have the opportunity to release this story," said Kendall, 18, to E! News.
"We can hardly wait to share some of these characters and the world we have created with readers worldwide. We are so excited," filled her sister Kylie, 16, in.

The sisters have written the novel together with author Maya Sloan, and it takes place "200 years into the future." T
he story is described as a thrilling dystopian story about two super-powered girls, Lex and Livia, who embark on a journey together, not realizing their biggest danger might be each other. "We wanted to do something different, something we are really passionate about," continued Kendall. The book will be released on June 3rd this year.

Finally Friday

Can you believe how fast this week has gone by? And in less than 7 hours I'll be on my "sports break", which means that I'll be free from school and other obligations for a whole week! Can time move faster, please?
But until then I have a few more lessons + an social studies essay to hand in (until Sunday). Hopefully it will all go so fast I won't be able to notice all the boring stuff at school and be on my way home.
I'm really looking forward to today's horseriding lesson aswell, I'll be riding this horse called Lorento, appearently he's a really sweet and obedient horse, which suits me perfectly. Will miss my little Humblebee a bit though...
Hold on everyone, the week is soon over!

Oscar De La Renta A/W 2014

The Oscar de la Renta girl adores a good party dress and while there were plenty of those, I was pleasantly surprised by the slightly edgier pieces in black leather.
Here are my favourite pieces from the collection, take a look for yourselves!

Winter wonderland?

NOOOO!!!!! That was my reaction this morning, when I woke up and saw that it had snowed tonight. Annelie and I had just talked about how war it was getting, but that it would probably come a snow storm soon, and I guess we were right... Even though there's snow, it's still quite warm outside, so hopefully it will all melt away soon.
I just had a Spanish exam/test, I'm not really sure how it went, but hopefully I'll get a good grade.
Have a great day everyone!

Marc Jacobs Fall 2014

Below you can watch the full Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 Ready To Wear collection which was the last and closing show of the New York Fashion Week.
Personally, I wasn't too impressed by the clothes, not really my sense of style. I did however think that it was really interesting with the clouds hanging above the viewers and the extremely long runway. Some of the pieces, once the more sparkly and wearable ones begin to come, are actually really nice. But as always, for me at least, I rarely find complete clothing pieces that I like. More often it's about colors and patterns, or maybe a kind of fabric. This collection is unfortenately no exception.
Also, if you look really closely, you can also make out Kendall Jenner from one of the models.

Gym time and juice

Yep, that pretty much sums up my day, hahah!
Seriously though, in the morning I went to Pressbyrån, where I had my intership, to ask them about my working schedule. My first day is not this Friday, but the one after that, beginning with inventoring the shop. Then they probably won't need me until the end of March.
After this meeting I had a tiny bit of school, from 10.15 AM to 12.15 PM. After that Nicolina and I went to buy some lunch and then to a place called Jabb. They sell different training and fitness stuff. There I bought 4 Questbars, something I've been wanting to try for quite some time. More about them in an another post.
Then it was off to the gym for the first workout in a very long time, due to sickness back and forth. It felt so good to finally get my body moving and step out of the sickness bubble once and for all.

Spring feelings

Two sunny days in a row and here I go, getting springy and all! I thought it was time to abandon the snowy winter background of my desktop and replace it with something pink, pretty and positive.
Here it is, my new, all pink and upgrated desktop!

Flowers are the sign of spring

The sun has finally made its way through the clouds, giving us some well needed light and warmth. Both my friends and I have noticed how much happier and alive we all feel now that the grey days have been abscent.
Nothing much has been going on lately, I had an oral presentation about sign laguage,a smaller Spanish test, a math dianosis and an English exam about famous authors. I think they all went well, but we'll have to see the results.
These last few weeks I've been even more interested in interior design. It's something I'm interested in otherwise, but lately it's been something that has occupied my brain and been the theme of my Pinterest and WeHeartIt searches.
In honor of the sun and the upcoming spring, here are some bright interior pictures for you to enjoy this morning!

Lunch with bestie

Thought I'd give you an update on what I've done today. After mass I met up with Agnes and we went to Wayne's Coffee for coffee/lunch. It was so nice to catch up with her after like a month of sickness and delayed plans. We talked about everything that's been going on, her dance shows, school, our summer plans etc. After that we went to Monki and Agnes found a very pretty magenta colored peplum lace top, it was gorgeous! Then we took the subway in to the city, where we parted. I went to the Pressbyrån where I had my intership, to talk to my mentor about the job offer she'd given me earlier, but she wasn't there. The guy I talked to told me to come back on Tuesday, so I will. Then I met up with mom and we were both really tired so we headed home.
Here I am now, studying for a Spanish exam I have tomorrow, eating candy and drinking coffee.
An amazing end to an amazing day!

Agnes had a cappuccino with a feta cheese bagel and I had a latte with feta cheese ans spinach quiche. Yummy!

My Valentine's Day

Afternoon everyone! I was supposed to post this yesterday and I thought I did, but somehow I must have done something wrong.
Anyway, my Valentine's Day was very nice. School ended earlier, so I didn't have to rush back home. I went to the grocery store to get some delicious stuff for my family to celebrate this day. Then I went to the stable to have my horse-riding lesson which went by really great, I trotted for the first time! Well actually not the first time, but it felt like it, since I was so scared I was going to fall off. You really on the horse's back, I feel really sorry for my Humblebee (got her this time, she's too sweet). Then I got home, took a nice shower and ate and other delicious stuff (mom had bought the same thing a had :P), while watching "About Time" with Agnes (at the same time, chatting through our phones). When the movie was ready I went to sleep.
Not the most hectic celebration, but definately a fun one!

Valentine's Day dessert. Vanilla/blueberry and vanilla hearts, so delicious!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Hope you all have a valentine, or if not someone to spend this beautiful day with, a friend, a sister/brother etc.
I will celebrate in a modern way today, partly with my family, but also with my dear friend Agnes. We'll watch the same movie at the same time and keep in touch through our phones or something. I would've loved to mmet up with her, but I have horse-riding class today. You have to do your best and find solutions that suit you, right?

Hope you find this day warming, even though you don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend. I know I will!

Zakynthos

My friends and I have been planning a girl's trip of some kind this summer. Up until now we've been thinking about Rhodos, Kos and Zakynthos. The last one is such a beautiful place, it looks like heaven! Below are some pictures for you to see what I'm talking about.
I really hope this trip happens, it would be so much fun!

Regardless of your relationship status, Valentine's Day is the perfect time to bring out the girly you. While I may not be the person with the most Valentine's Day experience (a comfy night in front of a romantic movie with cookies is perfect for me), I'm for sure a big fan of pink, red and the overall girliness that comes from a perfect Valentine's Day combination.

Valentine's Day recipes

Evening everyone!
This post is dedicated to all you baking lovers like me out there, who want to do something special, for the family, friends, that special someone or just yourself, this Valentine's Day. In this post I've listed my three favourite recipes from last night's post.
I will definately be baking something for this Valentine's Day (not sure what yet) and if you're feeling like joining me, take some inspiration from the recipes below.
Happy baking everyone!

Strawberry Pudding Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 3.4-ounce strawberry jello pudding mix, dry
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and very lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl combine flour, salt, strawberry pudding mix (dry) and baking soda. Whisk to combine. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until all ingredients are incorporated. Gently stir in chocolate chips. Drop about 2 tablespoons of cookie dough onto prepared cookie sheet, spacing each about 2-3 inches apart (they will spread quite a bit). Bake 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool about 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack and allowing to finish cooling completely. Store in airtight container. Enjoy!

Soft M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened (1 1/2 sticks)
3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix (not sugar-free and not 'cook & serve'), OR use 2 teaspoons cornstarch in place of pudding mix
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch salt, optional and to taste
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup milk chocolate M&M's mixed into the dough + about 1/2 cup for placing on top of dough mounds

Instructions:

  1. To the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment (or large mixing bowl and electric mixer) combine the butter, sugars, egg, vanilla, and beat on medium-high speed until creamed and well combined, about 4 minutes.
  2. Stop, scrape down the sides of the bowl, and add the flour, pudding mix (or cornstarch), baking soda, optional salt, and beat on low speed until just combined, about 1 minute.
  3. Stop, scrape down the sides of the bowl, and add the chocolate chips, 3/4 cup M&Ms, and beat on low speed until just combined, about 30 seconds.
  4. Using a large cookie scoop, 1/4-cup measure, or your hands, form 15 equal-sized mounds of dough, roll into balls, and flatten slightly.
  5. Add about 1 tablespoon M&Ms to the top of each dough mound.
  6. Place mounds on a large plate or tray, cover with plasticwrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, up to 5 days. Do not bake with unchilled dough because cookies will bake thinner, flatter, and be more prone to spreading.
  7. Preheat oven to 350F, line a baking sheet and spray with a cooking spray. Place dough mounds on baking sheet, spaced at least 2 inches apart (I bake 8 cookies per sheet) and bake for 11 minutes, or until edges have set and tops are just set, even if slightly undercooked, pale, and glossy in the center. Cookies firm up as they cool. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for about 10 minutes before serving. I let them cool on the baking sheet and don't use a rack.
  8. Cookies will keep airtight at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the freezer for up to 6 months. Alternatively, unbaked cookie dough can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, so consider baking only as many cookies as desired and save the remaining dough to be baked in the future when desired.

Heart - Shaped Frosted Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:

Cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 cup powdered sugar1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature, cut into slices
1 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Frosting
4 ounces (1/2 stick) softened cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar1 tablespoon milk or cream
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
2-3 tablespoons pink/red/white sprinkles and/or pink glitter crystals

Instructions:
  1. In bowl of a large food processor, pulse together flour, salt and powdered sugar until combined.  Add butter and vanilla and turn processor on just until dough comes together.
  2.  Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead into a smooth ball.  Roll dough out into a disk about 1/2-inch thick and 10-inches in diameter.  Tightly wrap the disk in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  3.  Preheat oven to 350° F and line a 10 x 15 cookie sheet with a silicone liner or parchment paper.  Remove dough from refrigerator and discard the plastic wrap.  Roll dough until it is 1/4-inch thick and cut with heart-shaped cookie cutters.  Place cut cookies on prepared cookie sheet and bake for 16-18 minutes, just until edges begin to brown.  The center of cookies will be soft.  Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely on cookie sheet.
  4.  While cookies cool, make frosting.  Beat cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.  Add one cup of powdered sugar and mix until combined.  Add remaining powdered sugar and milk and continue to mix until smooth.  Add in vanilla and mix until combined.
  5. When cookies are cool, generously spread each with the frosting and then cover with sprinkles as desired.

Last day at home

Today is exactly that, the last day at home after being sick for a week. I feel incredibly anxious about what I must've missed out on at school, but there's not much I can do about it. Tomorrow starts with an English exam about famous authors throughout modern history, so the first day doesn't really start kindly.
But I'm not gonna let these thoughts ruin my last nice day at home. Up until now I've studied for the English exam and watched "Revenge" and now it's time for even more studying.
Below are some pics from Seira's and mine's super cosy snuggle this morning.

Have a great day everyone!

Velntine's Day Dessert Party

This is a great tip for all of you single ladies out there, like myself. Invite your dearest girlfriends over to your place for a lovely Valentine's Day dessert party, where there will only be delicious pastries to celebrate the power of YOU!
Tell your guests to eat dinner on their own beforehand so that they don't expect to be served a main course. Then invite everyone over for sweets and feel free to end the night with one of your favourite romantic comedies too.

And here are some helpful tips you can use when throwing your own Valentine's Day dessert soiree:

Bake your heart out.
Baked goods taste so much better when they’re in a festive heart shape, don’t you think? You can also cut the brownies into hearts. The more hearts, the better. Check out the photos below to get inspired!

Use fresh flowers.
Have fresh flower arrangements to add some life to your dessert table. An example could be ranunculus, anemones, fringed tulips, eucalyptus and succulents. Beautiful!

Twist and shout.
Remember to throw on some fun holiday tunes for your get together. Create your own Valentine’s Day playlist.

Hang time.
No desert table is complete without some type of hanging garland. Make a heart garland with some glitter on, both appropriate for the occassion, but also incredibly cute to look at. And they're cute enough to use year-round!

Valentine's Day ideas

Valentine's Day is just a few days away and if you're single with no special plans for the day, you'll probably end up like me, watching movies and eating cookies and chocolate. And there's definately nothing wrong with that, despite all the expectations everyone has for the 14th.
But if you have someone special in mind for the day, make sure to make it something special. It doesn't have to be much, but something out of the ordinary is often appreciated. Therefore I've decided to do a bit of a "Valentine's Special" here on my blog, with a Valentine's Day-inspired post every day until Friday.
Today is the first part, where you can get some great tips on what to do during this heartwarming holiday!

Quickie breakfast in bed
Since Valentine’s Day falls on a work day, I thought this 2-minute French Toast in a Mug recipe was perfect.
Mix it, zap it, and serve it up to your love before his feet hit the floor for the day. Who doesn’t love surprise breakfast in bed (especially on a weekday)?

Send him a card
I'm in love with this card. How cute is it? If your Valentine is far away, write them a love letter. It’s just so sweet and romantic…

Give him something sweet
When I saw these cookies (and a whole lot of others on Pinterest) I just knew I had to share them with you... While I do think conversation hearts are cute, they often don’t exactly taste that great. I'll be doing a post exclusively about Valentine's Day-pastries, so just keep an eye on the blog for more delicious insiration to come!

Dinner for two
Surprise your Valentine with a seductively simple homemade dinner. Try this recipe for Pan-Seared Strip Streak with Red Wine Sauce and Pink Peppercorn Butter and pair it with a side of creamy mashed potatoes, and your favorite drink for an unforgettable meal. Or if you're no chef in the kitchen, take him to that restaurant that you both love, or try something new!

Make him a mix tape
Valentine’s Day isn’t about gifts and spending lots of money - it’s about showing the person you love and adore that they are special. When I saw these cassettes that are actually USB drives, I just couldn’t resist. Old-fashioned yet super adorable, is there any better combo?

Do a movie night
When your guy gets home at the end of the day surprise him with a movie night complete with his favorite treats, chocolate, ice cream, popcorn, and of course, his favorite movies (like James Bond).

Stir the pot
Why not cook up your favorite meal together? Homemade pizza or pasta is always a good bet. Try this Buttery Tomato Pasta. It’s delicious and simple!

When is this ever going to end?

Ugh, what a horrible morning! I wake up with a headache, my eyes hurt and I feel like crap, just when I thought that things were getting better. Now I'm sitting here in my room, rain is pouring outside while I'm watching "Revenge" with what feels like a head stuffed with cotton balls. Can this whole thing come to an end soon, please?
I really don't mind staying at home and all, but please can I be feeling well at the same time? I wonder what I've done to derserve this kind of crap...
Anyways, hope you're all feeling better than I am. This (probably) won't stop me from updating. Keep an eyes on the blog for at least one another post today. Also, since it's Valetine's Day soon it might have a special theme...

Breakfast

Delicious berry smoothie

Afternoon everyone!
The day is coming to an end and I'm feeling better and better for each day that passes. Tonight I have something special to look forward to. That is the second round of Melodifestivalen. The music most often sucks, but it's a nice thing to gather the whole family around. These kinds of things don't happen that often, and it's really nice to get some quality time with the fams.
Today for lunch I had this delicious mixed berry smoothie that I thought I'd share with you. I didn't go after some kind of special recipe, just added what I found and it turned out yummy!

So just mix 1 1/2 dl unsweetened almond milk, 1 banana and around 1 dl of berries of your choice (I chose a mix of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries) and you smoothie is done! If you like your smoothie a bit thicker or thinner, just ajust the amount of almond milk.

Getting better

Morning everyone!
Wow, these last couple of days have been horrible. I've had high fever, throat pains and been drugging myself with painkillers. To add to it, I've had to study for a huge marketing exam (which I ended up NOT doing) and writing two, almost three, essays. How about that?

But it hasn't all been bad. It's been really nice to stay at home (even if not under the best circumstances), to sleep and relax a bit. I've been listening to this audiobook called "Gone Tomorrow"/"Det Ögat Inte Ser" by Lee Child. It's a Jack Reacher-novel, not sure which one though. It's really nice to just lay in your bed and listen to someone reading a book, when you're feeling to horrible to do it yourself. I do it every time I'm sick and it keeps me from dying out of boredome. Something I truly do recommend.

Also, once I started to feel a bit better, I started to watch a new series. I know that it probably wasn't the best decision, since I have literally about 5 series that I've started watching but never ended, but I just felt so bored by the ones I'm watching now, so a bit of freshness was exactly what I needed. The series that I've started watching is called "Revenge" and I'm guessing almost all of you have at least heard about if not watched it. I think it's a great series that I fell in love with from the first episode. It's basically about a woman who comes back to the place where she grew up to revenge his father, who'd been falsely accused of a crime he didn't commit. There's a lot of drama, beautiful people, gorgeous clothes and amazing houses, which for a drama, fashion and interior freak like me is the perfect combo!
I really think that you should give this series a chance, I think a lot of you would love it.
Below are some pictures from "Revenge".

Again and again and again

Morning people!
Really didn't sleep well at all, laid in my bed, twisting, changing positions and so on, probably throughout the whole night. The reason to this is that these past few weeks' not feeling on top has finally showed it's results, I'm sick! This time it's the real deal, not the lame kind of feeling tired and having headaches occassionally. No, this time it's fever, my throat hurts and the body feels like it's been sucked into a tornado and throwed out again.
This illness seriousy could not have had a worse timing, since I have this "small" (according to my teacher, but really it's huge) marketing test tomorrow and I have to study my ass off. So I'm really sorry if I won't be updating that much today, or the rest of the week until the weekend (3 (!) essays until Friday).
I do hope though that school or work isn't as hard for you as it's for me right now, and that you enjoy the energy of being healthy.

Have a great day!

Finally got the new H&M catalogue for spring and summer! I feel so proud looking who's on the cover (Edita Vilkeviciute, from Lithuania)!

Yesterday's dinner was a delicious green, white and yellow salad. I love salad, could seriously eat it every day!

14 timeless pieces your closet should have

Your closet has seen trends come and go, but the basics - that perfectly worn-in white tee, your trusty blue jeans, and go-to nude flats - are forever. You can rest assured that these key pieces will never go out of style or lose their street-chic appeal. Simply put: they’re the building blocks to the perfect wardrobe. So whether you’re looking to start over or simply wish to update an old favorite, shop these picks now.

Perfect White Tee

It doesn’t get any more classic than a white t-shirt. The best styles are super soft and have a relaxed, lived-in fit. A crewneck cut is a no-brainer, but I also like a V-neck style because it’s a little sexier and the perfect canvas for layering necklaces.

H&M Jersey top

Skinny Jeans

Fit and wash are everything here. Go for a slightly high-rise style to give the illusion of longer, slim legs and stick to a true blue wash that will go with everything.

kategorier

Crewneck Sweater

During the more brisk months of fall and spring, a lightweight knit is your best friend. Layer it over a collared blouse during the week, then swap in a pair of boyfriend jeans for the weekend. My advice? Have several in different colors.

Parrot

Black Pumps

When it comes to shoes, black pumps are perhaps the most reliable and versatile option. At once sophisticated and sexy, they’re perfectly suited for almost any outfit and occasion.

Pumps

Bright Cross-Body Bag

For all those times when a tote bag is too big and a clutch is too small, the cross-body bag is just right. In an attention-grabbing color, the portable handbag packs a (stylish) punch.

Accent bags, things fun

White Button-Down

Ask not what you can do for your white button-down, but what your white button-down can do for you. The answer is this: add a crisp polish to both your work and off-duty uniform.

Petronella shirt
MQ Petronella shirt

Pencil Skirt

The good news about the pencil skirt is that it’s moving out of office-only territory. I love the piece after-hours paired with a slinky silk cami or t-shirt.This piece looks best in more calm colors, but if you're a color freak a bright one works as good.

H&M Pencil skirt

Leather Jacket

Go ahead and splurge for this outerwear essential: I promise the investment will be worth it. For one, you can wear it year round, and two, leather jackets only get better with age. Go for a classic black or be more daring with a white or red one.

Jacket

Menswear-Inspired Watch

An oversized, masculine watch adds interest to pared-down pieces both at the office/school and afterwards. It  can also double as a bracelet when layered with additional jewelry.

Jet Set Helsinki

Wrap Dress

Diane von Furstenberg is celebrating 40 years of her emblematic wrap dress - you can see the “Journey of a Dress” exhibition at LACMA in Los Angeles now (if you're lucky to be there) - so you can be sure this is a silhouette that will stand the test of time.

H&M Wrap dress

Nude Flats

When you need a break from your heels, a nude flat serves as the ideal substitute. Straddling the line between dressy and casual, this functional footwear style is just at home with a pair of tailored trousers as it is a floral sundress. Choose a bit more interesting model to take your style to the next level, with a pair of scalloped flats like the ones below.

Ballerina
Put Feet First Ballerinas

Sunglasses

Bright, dark or colored frames, they're all equally cool and offer a great touch to any outfit, no matter the season.

TOPSHOP Alice Metal Aviator Sunglasses

Ankle Boots

The suede ankle boot has been a must-have ever since Isabel Marant released the now infamous Dicker boot. With countless versions available, finding a heel height, cut, and color that suits your style is easy.

RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman

These tragic news hit me this morning. Philip Seymour Hoffman, a worldwide famous actor, for the younger generation most known for playing the role of Plutarch Heavensbee in Catching Fire, passed away. The information from the police is that it was an overdose.
You will be incredibly missed by all the people you touched, directly or through your movies!
May he rest in peace!

This weekend

Morning guys! Happy Monday, right? No no no, there's nothing good about Monday's, unless you get to stay at home while everyone else goes to school/work. But no luxury like that for me today, school started already at 8.35 AM. Now I have a 1 h 10 min English lesson ahead of me, then marketing and then lunch. I'm sooo looking forward to lunch...

So this weekend was a lot of fun. Firstly, I wwent to Ammi's birhtday party on Friday, as I've already told you before. Then I slept until probably 11 AM on Saturday. I would've slept longer, but I needed to get up and get ready for my Saturday afternoon-activity for around 4 months from now. That's a... modeling class!

So I've started attending this "modeling class" at Marikas Dance and Model Studio in central Stockholm. I heard about it while listening to the radio and thought it sounded interesting, so I searched about it on the Internet. I found the website, read a bit about the class and liked what they had to offer, so I signed in! On Saturday it was the first class and I was so nervous. I arrived about 15 minutes before the class would start, just sat and waited for the class to start. When it was around 5 minutes left I started to get a bit worried, because there was only me and an another girl there.
But then, when was just a couple of minutes left, a dance class ended and a lot of people from that class attended the modeling class. First, we entered the studio/dance hall and sat down. Our teacher, Marika herself, talked about what was included in the class, about what theme we're going to have on our fashion show at the end (which will be influenced by the exhibition "THE FASHION WORLD OF JEAN PAUL GAULTIER: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk").
Then we got to walk in heels the whole class, train on our skills (mine were awful, compared to the others), posing at the end of the "runway" and so on. It really didn't go as well as I was hoping, but since I don't have really that much experience when it comes to walking in heels, there's no wonder it went the way it did.

So I'll have to work my ass of at home, practicing to walk at least okey in heels so that I can rock that runway after this course has ended. Make-up lessons, photoshoots and stuff like that are also included.
I had a lot of fun and I have so much exciting stuff to look forward to!

Yesterday's fun

Goodmorning! Or if you've been up for a while, good afternoon or something. For me it's morning since I just woke up after yesterday's fun. Yesterday my friend Ammi and her friend celebrated their 18th birthdays by throwing a party, which was so much fun. There were a lot of new people, some familiar faces and my friends and I. It was really nice to change the environment and socialize with different people. We danced all night long, so my legs hurt a bit. Here are some pics from last night, taken by me or my friends:

The dancefloor was full of smoke, therefore the super bad quality

The girls!

Yet another picture of us, unfortunately none with the birthday girl. From left to rigth: Patricia, me, Annelie and Nicolina. Fun night!
